Capture Mode

Run the floor from your phone.

Capture Mode is a one-thumb status flipper the whole crew shares on set. Queued to setup to live to captured, one tap. Captured shots drop into a collapsed tail so the next setup is always on top, and it keeps working when the signal does not.

The run of show, one thumb, on set

Without it

On set, shot status lives on a printed list and in the first AD's head, so by lunch nobody quite agrees what is already in the can.

With ShootFlow

One shared tap moves a shot from queued to captured. Everyone sees the same run of show update live, and the next setup is always on top.

How it works

Capture Mode, step by step.

01

Tap to advance

Each shot moves through queued, setup, live and captured with a single thumb tap. No typing, no menus, no passing a laptop around.

02

Everyone stays in sync

The whole crew shares one live run of show. When one person flips a status, every phone on set reflects it at once.

03

It survives no signal

Capture is offline-aware: it keeps what is on screen, flags the moment you drop connection, and re-syncs the second you are back.

Questions producers ask

How do I track shot status on set?

Open Capture Mode on your phone and tap each shot through queued, setup, live and captured. The whole crew shares one run of show, so every phone stays in sync as shots are flipped.

Does it work without signal?

Yes. Capture is offline-aware: it keeps everything already on screen, flags the moment you lose connection, and re-syncs when you are back. Saves need signal, and a tap that cannot get through fails visibly on the spot.

Who can update the status?

Anyone on the crew with access to the shoot. Because it is one shared list rather than a personal copy, there is a single source of truth for what is in the can.

What happens to captured shots?

They collapse into a tail at the bottom, so the shots still to get are always on top. The list stays focused on what is next, not what is done.
